Route one is the more popular route among the many that link the cities together. This is probably due to the vast variety of pokemon that can be encountered here.

This small, not very populous city near the coast is best known as a center of science and learning. The majority of its inhabitants are involved in fishing, and it is considered notable for its huge marble temple.

Sub-board: Newstead Gym

Route two is usually skipped over via caravan or flying. Reason being the large amount of herd pokemon that call this meadow home.

This midsized, bustling city is located beside a river, the same river that cuts Route Three in half. The majority of its inhabitants are involved in spices, and it is considered notable for its yearly harvest festival.

Route three is cut in have by the Derby City river. The easiest way across is the stone-crafted bridge that spans the river's width. Most just come here to fish and enjoy the scenery.

This fairly large city is crowded. It sits at the foot of the mountains. The majority of its inhabitants are involved in tourism, and its most noteworthy feature is the large and busy market square.

Sub-board: Chestnut Gym

This route is known as the "Mountain Route". It starts where Chestnut Village ends and the base of the Kochi Mountain Range begins. There are different ways to go about traversing through its path; the caves carved in its side, both natural and manmade, the path that heads straight over the mountain peaks, ie. the most dangerous one, or underground in the miners tunnels. Each comes with its own threats and advantages.

This moderately sized city is very quiet, both during the day and night. It's built into the mountain itself and known as the Mining Capital of Kochi.

Sub-board: Wicklit Gym

Route five is by far the worst to travel through. It's mostly a desert habitat with a constant sandstorm passing through. It's not rare to find yourself being trailed by a pokemon seeking the coolness of your shadow.

This small, spread out village is more of a camp than a permanent settlement. It's located right in the heart of the desert and most of its revenue comes from the many festivals and contests it holds.

Route six offers little to the eyes. It sits at the edge of the desert and is just about as dry. It closely resembles the second route as it consists of mainly grass and shrubs but is much longer and wilder. The grass is known to reach past a full grown man's head in some places which gives the pokemon here an abundance of hiding places.

Despite its name, Dryton City is less like a city and more like a small community. Most of the produce here is grown in the greenhouse and the pokemon are bred and sold straight off the many ranches. It's a breeder's paradise.

Route seven is a thick vegetative forest, a stark contrast to the previous route. Once inside it's advised to not leave the designated path for it is easy to get lost or trapped in the dense jungle. But don't let that kill your adventurous side. It's believed that an ancient city once stood in the center of this mass of trees and vines. Who knows what treasures could be found there?

Monmouth is a bright and colorful place to be. The streets are always buzzing during the day and light up at night. It's considered the party central of Kochi and has started offering many different benefits to trainers and coordinators alike.

Route eight is the only route with a restriction on how a traveler can cross. Due to being a sea, you can only cross if you have a pokemon that is capable of carrying you across via surfing or flying or renting one from the boatman.
