Kochi recognizes three main classes: trainers, coordinators, and civilians. On top of these we’ll allow you to go by a title such as Ace Trainer, Bird Tamer, Tri-Athlete, etc (the rest and their explanations can be found here). to further enhance your character on our site. You’ll notice that we don’t have a category for those that oppose Kochi’s lifestyle. This is simply because any class can have this view; even civilian characters can dislike how things are here. If you want your character to be Anti-Kochi, as we’ll call it for now, you can state it in their biography or keep it secret until the time is right during an In-Character thread. Now, onto the explanations of each:
CIVILIANS: This class is not for those who want to experience a journey. They are characters that do not take part in gym or contest challenges and do not have the same freedom as trainers and coordinators (but they can travel by the use of caravan, boat, or any other mode of transportation available). They simply reside in one of the chosen cities as an inhabitant of the region. They can be part of the festivals and town events, even those that include aspects of training. Civilians are allowed to start out with four pokemon at the maximum level of twenty for each. They can battle to strengthen their team in only the routes that touch their city. They are allowed only six pokemon, no more than that. Civilians are the only characters that can start their own shops in their hometown and host their own events as part of a town festival.
